ARK takes in over a thousand cats every year. Many are strays, abandoned, surrendered and require costly medical care. It is not uncommon for us to have over 100 cats in care at any given time. Our annual veterinary expenses amount are astronomical. Rescuing animals is a never-ending cycle.
We rely entirely on donations from generous people and special events for our funding. We do not receive municipal or government financial assistance.
Animal Rescue Krew-ARK is registered as a charity under the registration number and is able to issue tax receipts for donations over $20.00.
In order for us to continue to help these wonderful cats in need, we are asking for the community's help in the form of financial contributions as well as donations such as canned food, litter. Becoming a foster or volunteer is also a great way to donate.
If you can't adopt, FOSTER. If you can't foster, DONATE. If you can't donate, VOLUNTEER, If you can't volunteer, TRANSPORT. If you can't transport, please EDUCATE, SHARE and NETWORK. Everyone can do something, big or small, to make a difference. STAND OUT. SAVE LIVES.
