Meet Mara!

If your looking for the perfect kitty .... Mara is your girl. She is smart, affectionate and obedient. Very clean and loves to snuggle up beside or on you.

The very sweet Mara was found trapped in a carrier in the Stirling area.  She was, of course, timid at first but once she realized she was safe ... Mara was so loving and really wanted to be around her people. The vet thinks she is around 5 years old. Mara is still growing some of the fur back on her tail, but other than that she is in good health.

Mara is available for adoption in the Brighton area.

   LEMON DROP

Meet Lemon Drop!     

Lemon Drop loves her humans and tolerates her foster buddies from a distance. Although overweight, she plays with all her toys, especially string on a wand.

She likes wet food as well as dry kibble. She does not like her tail or back end to be touched. Lemon Drop loves head bumps, chin, rubs, and ear scratches.She would be good with a single person or a family with older children.

Meet Alvin!

Alvin is the perfect companion for anyone who appreciates a balance of affection and independence. He is a master of reading the room, knowing exactly when you need a snuggle and when you just need a quiet presence nearby.

           WHISPER

 Meet Whisper!

This girl was trapped living outside on a rural property. She had a bit of an attitude when she first arrived, but she has come so far! She is a volunteer favourite. She will have you entertained all day with her funny faces and antics. She LOVES toys and will often entertain herself with a spring or whatever she can get her paws on.

Her only downfall now is she a catnip ADDICT! It’s the highlight of her day. She is the first to greet you at the door and will follow you around for pets or wants you to throw her toy.

          GEORGINA

Meet shy Georgina!

Georgina was rescued from a recycle plant, along with her two sisters. She is approximately 1 year old and has short black fur.

Georgina is a curious girl who watches everything from a distance. She enjoys being pet but at this point won’t seek out  affection on her own.

Georgina needs a patient family that will allow her to come out of her shell on her own timetable.

          CHUCKIE

Meet Chuckie!

He is a very friendly, very large male. He loves to tell you everything that’s on his mind throughout the day.

Chuckie was surrendered by his owner when they had a change in lifestyle.

FRENCHIE & RIZZO

Meet Frenchie and Rizzo!

These girls were rescued from a terrible living situation. They were confined to a room with numerous other cats with no litter boxes and limited food. They were terrified when they first arrived and often would hide when you would enter the room.

Fast forward many weeks later and Frenchie was greeting us at the door for some long (sometimes uncomfortably long) kisses. Which is where she gets her name from.

Her sister, Rizzo followed suit a few weeks later. These girls are full of love and affection for each other and their humans. They have put their troubling past behind them and are ready to find their furever family together.

This bonded duo is available for adoption in Trenton.

        Meet Jeanie!

       This is what her foster Mom has to say about her:

She is a shy timid little lady that will          need some time to get used to a new        home.

When Jeanie does settle in, she                    loves toys and treats. She appreciates      pets and has a quiet purr.

   LUNA - ADOPTED!

Meet Luna!

Luna is a very sweet female. Approximately a year old. She was found as a stray with two kittens in someone’s garage. They cared for them and reached to us.

The homeowners did a great job and both kittens were well socialized, Celeste and Sapphire. They were adopted earlier this month.

It’s now Luna’s turn to find her furever home. She purrs easily and is always happy to see you. She can be a bit shy at first, but with patience she will make a loving companion.

          GEORGIA 

Meet Adorable and Friendly Georgia!

This is what her foster Mom has to say about her:

Though not too self motivated, Georgia enjoys playing with wand toys. She may be shy at first but treats will help. She enjoys dry treats (like Friskies or Temptations) over pureed treats but likes her wet food more than dry kibble. She will do all kinds of somersaults for pets all over and purr a storm. Though not tested with cats or dogs, she would do well in a family with another feline friend with slow introductions. Her foster family will miss her dearly, and hope she will be in a very loving home!

          ELISE 

Meet Elise!

This is what her foster Mom has to say about her:

Elise is shy at first but sweet once she gets to know you. She doesn’t like being pick up but loves for you to give her scritches on the back of her head and down her back. She is a very laid back girl, she shares space with her sister and a little kitten and she doesn’t seem to mind either of them.Elise would do best in a quiet home.
